HELLO, I’m Aideen McCartney

I’m a certified Play Therapist and parenting coach working with children and families in South London, and soon to be offering serivces in Cardiff, Wales. 

​

Raised in Australia and New Zealand, over the past 20 years I’ve worked as a play therapist, teacher, nanny and children's theatre performer in Australia, South Korea and the UK.

 

I've always been passionate about the importance of play and creativity as part of a healthy childhood and my love for working with children has given me a wealth of diverse experience.

My special interest is in helping parents to step into the world of their children and strengthening family relationships through creativity, curiosity and play.

I'm a registered member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), DBS checked, hold professional liability insurance and attend regular clinical supervision.
